WHAT IS NATUROPATHIC MEDICINE?
Naturopathic Medicine is a system of primary care in which the main goal is to address the root cause of the illness or disease and to promote health and healing using natural therapies. This comprehensive medicine combines the wisdom of tradition with the strength of modern medical research.
Naturopathic doctors undergo over 7 years of academic and clinical training and are licesensed by their provincial regulatory board. The broad range of therapies allow the ND to be flexible in designing the best treatment plan for the individual patient and work in partnership with other regulated healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive and effective care.
