Kathleen Chatburn, Registered Massage Therapist (RMT), has lived in Collingwood for 18 years with her husband and 2 children. Kathleen graduated from CDI College in Barrie with honours in May of 2008 and has been practicing since then.

Kathleen enjoys all aspects of massage, however seeing the treatment process evolve has become inspiring.

Kathleen performs a variety of treatments including relaxation massage & therapeutic massage. She is also registered as a Certified Foot Reflexologist and a Level 2 Reiki Practitioner.

Reflexology: The Ontario College of Reflexology defines Reflexology as a focused pressure technique, usually directed at the feet or hands. It is based on the premise that there are zones and reflexes on different parts of the body which corresponds to glands and organs of the entire body.  When the reflexes are stimulated, the body’s natural electrical energy works along the nervous system to clear any blockages in the corresponding zones. Reflexology can remove stress, relieve congestion and improve blood circulation, as well as enhance the body’s ability to heal itself.

Reiki: Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that promotes healing. It is administered by “laying on hands” and is based on the idea that energy flows through us. If your energy force is low or blocked then you are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high and free-flowing, you are more capable of being happy and healthy.

Cancellation Policy: We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. If you know you won’t be able to make it to the appointment, please call to inform us and we would gladly reschedule. In our desire to be effective and fair to all of our clients and out of consideration for our therapists’ time, we have adopted the following policies:

Cancellations for Massage Therapy sessions: There will be no charge for cancellations 24 hours prior to scheduled massage appointment. A $25 fee will be charged for cancellations within 24 hours. Last minute cancellations or “no-shows” will result in full service charge or voidance of gift certificates.

Arriving late: If you are not present for your scheduled session during the first 15 minutes (unless having telephoned us you might be late), it will be construed by us that you are a “no-show”, and that time slot will automatically become available for someone else. Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment, and regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session.
Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time.
