Monika Lukacena-Russo, Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine and Isabel Fernandes, Certified in Nutrition & Wellness and Personal Training are working together to provide you with a unique approach to weight management that takes into consideration your whole-self wellness – body, mind and spirit.
LIVING WITH BALANCE – the weight loss solution, coaches and inspires you to enjoy leading a healthy lifestyle – incorporating healthy, natural eating patterns, physical activity and strategies to cope with emotional issues.
Our goal is to give clients the tools, support and coaching that they need to enable them to enjoy leading a healthy lifestyle. The program is customized to the individual’s needs and includes coaching and support on all 3 aspects of wellness – nutrition, physical activity and emotional wellness. Sessions are held at Olea Health in Wasaga Beach. The program is supervised by Monika Lukacena, Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine, who may recommend the use of supplements to complement the plan.
We currently offer 2 programs, a 4-week and a 3-month program:
4 WEEK PROGRAM:
The 4 week program is ideal for a person that is very disciplined, that needs minimum accountability or/and only needs some direction and some tools that they can put into practice. We tailor the program to the individual and focus on the individual’s areas of concern, but basically the 4 week program would provide the client with a complete health status assessment, nutritional counselling (may include meal plans and recipes), a personalized workout plan and stress reduction techniques. The workout plan is tailored to the individual’s specific needs and fitness level and can be done in the privacy of their home with minimum equipment.

3 MONTH PROGRAM:
The 3-month program offers additional nutrition information, like the GI load, pH balance, reading labels, etc., and strategies to deal with emotional eating. In this program, the sessions following the first set of 4 (see 4-week program) focus on what we identify may constitute a challenge – we could do a mixture of all 3 aspects again, or focus exclusively on nutrition, or have personal training sessions, or stress management sessions, or any combination.
